I have a vague memory of them not being usable on pups up to xxx?
Seresto collar offers lasting flea and tick protection in puppies from 7 weeks of age. This easy-to-use collar is odourless and water-resistant.

Saw a 2 panel cartoon about this yonks ago.
Smartly dressed chap gets out of his shiny Porsche in a seedy neighbourhood.
Presses the key fob as he walks away, and Poof, it changes to a beat up daggy Beetle with flat tyres.
Cheers

General Discussion / Car Tracking Devices

Just with bloke from work whose car got stolen, he had a tracking device and tracked his car in minutes..

just been looking on Victorian Stolen Vehicle page on stalkerbook I cant believe how many pages of cars are going, and not just sports cars... seems most cars with push button ignition are easy targets... Shit loads of Mazdas and Corollas going (and dual cab utes)

Educate me on good/bad tracking devices... Ghost Tracking seems widely trusted and used

Thoughts?

usually the prevention is a double dose.

1) is a regular chew or spot (on the skin, back of the neck)
2) is a Seresto collar

The 1) protects them *when* they are bitten. While the 2) stops the tick from biting in the first place.

Tucker's Seresto collar came off for grooming and then got missplaced in the car and not refitted or replaced. We got complacent and he very nearly paid the price for it...

We now have a collars for each of them and a spare for each as well. (the collars are usually good for 8 months)

Monday 4th May - Update.

hes walking around reasonably well now. all his vitals are up. His platelets are still a little down (but rising every day), and blood tests show that he is now making his own red blood cells again.

at this stage... he's been cleared to come home at the end of the week.

(and be horrified that he now has a little sister...)

thanks heaps for all the well wishes everyone. it means a lot.
So the tick thing - is that going to be an issue more often??
