The one we inherited has a couple of 9V batteries as a backup for emergency extraction.

Had electric recliners for just on ten years, bugger to get out of if the power goes out, happened twice. Other than that they're the ants pants.

After being together for 44yrs, we finally have a brand new lounge.  ;D  We've always had hand me downs or 2nd hand ones from market place or gumtree and being at an age where the body is not as pliable due to crumbling knee and hip joints for my other half, I thought stuff it, why shouldn't we have a bit of comfort in our life after a lifetime of struggling and sacrifice.  ???  ;D

If you ask me, new caravans are stupidly expensive and not worth the money, especially when the build quality is chit in many of them!  ::)

My brother and a cousin both bought new vans $95,000-$108,000 and both have had warranty issues on their first trip and subsequent trips after that.  >:(

Ive replaced the baskets in most of my fridges with corflute plastic sheeting. After having a stubby cap wear a hole in one of my engels evap plate basically making it useless I started using the 3mm coreflute sheeting like they make signs out off. I just cut it to fit in the base and then another cut and folded to fit around the sides. Its easy to ut and bend and doesnt affect how fridge works.
