So Joff  tell us of the burns that you have on your lower legs , from welding flash + hot slag in the socks .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,&then                    ??? ???

I have none, well one small on my foot from a very persistant little bugger, but that is my 18yo son. He's still burn proof and knows everything so we will have to wait a little while for him to learn.

Some may recall his first welding efforts from this thread

I built up a battery box for my Joolca pump - got an enclosure for my tiny 33ah battery at Leisurefest the other day, added 12v ciggy and Anderson plugs to the casing, and just working out if it is possible to mount the pump onto the box, to make it all in one. Probably a bad idea though...

We've swapped from the camper to a van yay! :)

Any chance of a look inside the box thanks?

& what's the yellow cable for - does that connect to the pump? What sort of plug / connection?

Thanks

Hi Fizzie,

Yeah, I'll get a pic for you tonight and post it here.

Edit, here you go. Both plugs have a 15 amp fuse in the positive lead:
The yellow cable is the pump power lead for the Joolca pump - it has a SAE connection that joins onto the pump, and has a inline switch. http://www.joolca.com.au/hottapouting

Made a removable Bike rack for the trailer to hold the 5 bikes, and hopefully a kayak.
It is made in 2 parts, the base which I strap down to the deck of the trailer, then the vertical part which pins to the head board. The wheels sit inside the Top hat material for roofing.

Continued building/rebuilding my daughters ride-on mower......  Is an old Yardman mower

It may go faster than the average mower too when finished

No cutting deck and some major straightening required on the engine cowling to go then set up with a 6" pulley on the transaxle instead of an 8"

Need to get the backside into gear and get out camping

Pulled this out of the diff in Mum's car last night. Apparently it only made a slight clunking noise, occasionally ???

With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....
