Not quite the shed
But just changed out the water pump, i seem to remember doing it between Christmas and new year about 6 or 7 years ago
Lucky I had the old one rebuilt so had it sitting on the shelf (see hers indoors, it's not all crap in my shed😉)
Hoping to get away after new years for a week or so in the camper, if it stops raining

So been busy in the shed making a mud kitchen for the 2yo granddaughter. Was her Christmas present from us but delivered down the gold coast today. Only been primed so far as her dad is a painter so he can do a much better job than me.
Another learning experience.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Fitted a BBQ slide to the new van. First I mocked up what I wanted in 3mm corflute. Once happy with the design I took it to a local fabricator to be dipped in aluminium. Gave it a coat of raptor, fitted the runners, and installed into the tunnel boot.
It holds the Ziggy Nomad at the front and all of my outdoor & fire cooking bits & pieces in the box at the rear.  Weight of the slide is 18kg, but the runners are 225kg rated & total overkill. Using the 125kg rated slides would have dropped the weight to around 12.5kg.

Thought about doing the same, but with a smallish fridge / freezer, so I got Coromal to install both 240 & 12V powerpoints in the boot.

Now looking at it, though, there's so much other stuff packed in there, we wouldn't be able to fit a fridge in! :'( :-[ ::)

Using an angle-grinder earlier to cut up an old aluminium security screen to use as racking.

Just about to make the final cut, so took one hand off the grinder to hold the screen, then the wheel caught, flicked the grinder out of my other hand, the body of it bounced off my leg, then it landed on the grass & cut it's power cord! :o

Will be up for a new grinder when we get home, & I'm damned lucky I'm not also looking for new toes & a leg! :'( :-X

My 115 18V makita can scare the crap out of me sometimes, it jams and breaks a disc.

Easy to be complacent with grinders, happens to me on the odd occasion. For some reason I still wear double pluggers while working in the shed though....

Yes.
I got it on deal, $499 delivered.
Now, the fridge works as it should, however the freezer doesn't.
I've done the Bushman's 85lt fan mod, which helps alot to keep drinks cold in the door.
So  my work around, I have filled it with the blue ice bricks, and bought a 15lt Brassmonkey that I run as a freezer.
The figures of what amps they both use are in the Solar Panel Thread I started a couple of weeks ago.
Btw, I took it back when I first got it, stating the freezer was defrosting in the early hours of a morning. Kings tested for a week, stating it was normal, even for your house fridge/freezer, to defrost overnight. like WT?
Anyway, my setup works well for us, 15lt of freezer is awesome.

A simple hack.
Tyre plug tools, always seem to be a pain to pack/store in the tool bag.
Simple fix, a piece of garden hose.
