Got a quote on a 3x2 storage space today, $2225 per year. I might reduce some of my stuff to fit in the garage...
Yeah, I'm about 30 minutes away from my work area, I've been thinking of a storage locker/shed in the Industrial estate to store materials in, I have a heap of building materials here at home, but to drive here to get them isn't worth it, sometimes I need, eg a piece of Ply, 90x45, 116x12fj, not a full lenght or sheet, or to store tools, ladders, planks, paints and other gear,
But at over 3K a year for a 6x3 shed, it doesn't seem worth it.
Might look at building one at my sisters place. :)

That's on the cards also.
But our council is cracking down on people for ratepayers doing that, even tho it can't be seen from a street/road.
Hmmm
Cheers.

Build a trailer 7mt x 2.4, and park that in your yard and council can not do a thing.
This is exactly how tiny houses are getting around building regulations. If it has wheels and tail lights it is a vehicle.
Not your local council but similar for most jurisdictions

With the silly prices for 2nd hand 4wds at the moment it's hard not to think about selling.

Geez, even tho I retired the Cruza from work duties, she racked up 3700 in 8 days back at the start of December last year.
Admittedly, she only done 500 odd km's since :(
Hope you guys get to travel again soon.
Take care mate

For those that still run O'l Skool manual turn Free Wheeling hubs That find the old fingers are a bit limited to turn on a cold morning jaunt to the beach ..Given the void is only about 8mm deep and the finger tips cop a caining . ..
You need some  Kneadable EPOXY / STEEL, light spray of canola oil on the free wheeling hub and squash that epoxy into the void .. Shape it and let cure for a few minutes and gently pry it off and out to cure fully .. will drill a hole through it for a 6mm ally rod for the fingers to push against  to help turn it . Yeah yeah they shouldnt be that hard to turn, but all the ones Ive ever had were pretty hard to turn no matter how much they were serviced .
Voila one Free Wheeling hub turning key ..

Slowly working on a water heater trolley for the Scout group.

The board on the left got a coat of primer and 2 of gloss.  That was the offcut.  The board on the right was supposed to be painted :-[

Another question for the hot water outlet I was going to use caravan hose.  Will it handle the heat?  Not sure did the temp but I doubt much over 50 degrees

Checked the wheel bearings on the camper
Were a bit loose but luckily rather than just tightening them I pulled the hub off
Disaster avoided, they were about ready to fail
So off to the bearing shop tomorrow

... or a shifter open just enough to lock on the turny bit - with a screw driver through the hole in the end of the shifter.

Good feeling isn't it. Ive just replaced right bearing on my camper after pulling them down to repack. Inner seal shot and let water in so trip over to adelaide to find the right seal. So I'll replace them both. I carry spare set of bearings & an old seal that came with the trailer. Lot easier to do at home than on the side of a track somewhere .

That's what we used when he had a HotTap on the CT, & no issues.

I seem to remember that it'll heat to ~20° above what it went in, so 20° in will come out at 40, but you can always run that water into another tank & run it through again! 8)
