A bit of 32NB pipe would have sorted the old one though.....or you could change to a McHitch Auto-Coupler and you don't need to raise the hitch so high....

DO35 only here. Needed something that looks tough too. Was going to make my own box style, but don't have enough time ATM.

I made a bracket to mount my Heath Robinson remote area 4G internet solution. This is a long running saga that started about three years ago. Initially a neighbour agreed  to allow me to use her wifi (after spending the afternoon in the beer tent at a local show). Her place about quarter of a mile away and the signal had to be bent around a copse of trees. Spent loads making it work. Then she changed her mind.

I then discovered that there was a very weak 800MHz 4G data signal covering parts of the area. I bought a Huawei 4g router and tried all manner of high gain antennas to try and boost the signal to something usable. I got the best results by mounting the router on top of a 15' pole and using the internal antennas. Still only managed nothing to one bar of signal though. Not surprising considering the nearest mast is 8 miles away on the other side of a hill. A couple of weeks ago I thought I'd try mounting the router in front of a parabolic reflector left over from the original wifi solution and point it towards the mast. Bang! Problem solved, two to three bars of reliable signal. I wish I'd tied it sooner. the next job is a weatherproof casing for the router.

Gave this old saw a service. Picked it up of Keith a while ago and it never ran well. Even sent it off for a service and still the same.

Found the spark arrestor to be completely blocked, a long soak and a clean and it goes like it would of when Ex purchased in the 50's

Awesome saw, mine (009L) had a tree fall on it when we were cutting fence posts, and I've never been able to find one I was happy to replace it with, as a lot of them have had a super hard life.  Picked up a Husky 136 on Facebook for $25 that had nothing wrong with it aside from needing a clean, and that's now my small saw

Recently installed a New DO35 pin as the old unit didnt look all that good . Had to smile when l collected it to be told that it was the last 1 in Southern Vic .Nothing coming in from suppliers .

Looks good. handy using ryobi batteries. Decent wattage too. Might look at one myself.
Ive had for a few years now a Weller BP645.  Runs off 3 AA alkali batteries. Nice small tip, great for when I used to work doing small wires on machines.

Fair enough, it does pay to check before buying one though. The needle tip is next to useless, but the chisel would be ok for auto wiring work.

Hope bunnings will carry the spare tips as a general item because with the extra they charge for special orders and if that USA price is right then might be cheaper to buy new soldering unit if tips wear out.

After building my welding table I needed to fit a welding curtain to protect the Landcruiser ( got sick of moving it out of the shed all the time ), so ran a stainless wire from one side to the other and found a guy selling 1.8 x 3.8 welding curtains, makes life just that bit easier

Finally got a roller door installed on the blockwork shed.

So treated it to some overspray for the welcome gift.

Had a half day off from work in the shed and started making my Father's day present from the kids  well they asked what I wanted and I told them a old non working compressor  the look on their faces Well I really wanted a Ozpig the big pig they make as a back yard fire but at over $800 I thought I would have a go at making one and its starting to come along nicely Here is the start of it

Iso project shed continues. As we all know 12v batteries are no good on a concrete floor so i put my battery bank up out of the way. I just hope the screws hold

nice little storage spot... how many/type of screws are holding that up?  looks to be a lot of weight... screwed straight into the top section?

12 good roofing screws with oversize washers to the top raked rafter. There is a level beam behing the door where the flat shelf base extends and bears onto. Its carries a lot of the weight and the top part is holding the moment force of it wanting to roll forward. I think it should hold fine
