Simply because all my life for some strange reason I have been called by my initials LK so when starting a small business I spelled out my initials and  the name became ELKAY

I had a red back in the stick shift knob but it was glued on and I couldn't remove it when I sold the car.  I liked it because it freaked a few people out.

For the many years that I have been on forums, I have used a regal, as in royal, forum name.  Couple of slight variations but generally the same.  When I joined this forum, I couldn't register with my usual forum name.  No idea why as I have since found out it wasn't being used by anybody else.  Anyway, I chose something similar, hence KingBilly.
