Best of both worlds..... we have a off road camper trailer plus a full ensuite off-road caravan   ;D

Straitened Out

I love being out in the Sandy Straits and I probably need straightening out from time to time so I combined the two.

When I first joined I had just sold  my 80 series and bought a 2006 GU.   Seems a bit cumbersome now but it's too hard to change it!
And there's been a Touareg since the first Patrol and now I'm back with a 2011GU.

Maybe I'll change it to 4080GUVWGU.

McTavish

Camping often goes hand in hand with surfing.
The board I choose to use the most and - is the best you can get... IMHO is my "McTavish" Surfboard.
In fact - awestruck moment a few weeks ago meeting Bob McTavish (for those not in the know - Bob is an Australian Surfing Icon) at his factory in Byron Bay was a highlight of most recent trip.
Vacation Camper & McTavish surfboard - what more does a guy need??

my forum name came when camper built see photo

Young Camping Family

When I first joined a forum for camping it was the first thing I could come up with that best described our situation.
Hubby and I were under 30 then so the 'young' part was to distinguish our age and the fact we aren't that experienced as far as travelling this great land, and we are a family of 4 - myself, my other half and our 2 girls (plus a dog) :)
