Jeepers Creepers

Ummm, I think someone must have stolen it..... yeah, yeah, that was it, some broke into the van and stole it.

The thief even had a getaway car/truck.

IT WAS A CLEANAWAY TRUCK..... they did it, but without a rego number, it would have been silly to try and press charges.  ;D

I lowered the front of the XF panel van today by 1.5 inches......so there  :P

The front ended up settling closer to a 2 inch drop in the end.
So, I lowered the back today with a set of 1 inch blocks I scored for free this morning

The old rattle box has never looked so good.

Jeepers Creepers

A mate of mine drove it to the Glenwood Swap yesterday and as soon as he got out, he commented on how nice it was to drive.  :cup:

Considering, the odometer threw in the towel about 5 years ago @ 695,000 klm and it would be well over 800,000 by now, it is just a good ol van.
I'm going to start cleaning up the barn doors later this week, as Rusty the home wrecker has been for a visit.

Probably...........buts thats all I'm giving it at this stage. Hard rubbish collection is coming up shortly.......whatever doesn't fit back can go on the footpath for the scavengers or rubbish.

Not in the man cave but out in the paddock...........close to a man cave  ;) !

We ( 0vr 55 & myself ) took one stock Kia Sportage and added a little love and know how to turn it into the best little farm truck in Stanthorpe  ;D
Thanks to the infonet we found that Jeep rear springs fit and give about 3in+ in the rear along with Rav4 1998 rear shockies.
The front was lifted with the help of 35mm ally spacers machined up by my son.  Bolted on some slightly more argressive rubber and your done

No, none !  The bonnet has enough slope on it to stop it reflecting, we looked at that before we drilled the holes.  The bar on the roof shines on the ground about 10 feet in front of the car, so it's all good as well  :cup:
The whole 4x4/project thing was a bit fun and done for sh1ts and giggles, it's no longer dragging it's arse accross all the rocks on the property and if it ever rains again ( we can only hope ) we should get through the black soil out the back of the block!

Cheers

Nice work on the Kia.
Seen some pics of another beasty one that gets around with the Jeep crew from time to time.

Though I much prefer your old shooting rig, even if I am a little biased....

I've been doing the roll cage and barwork for my Sierra in the shed over the last few weekends and evenings.
