He was certainly there 2 weeks ago, as we were in the shop

& we've got this one hanging on our living room wall, which I Fleabayed several years ago - more than $10 though!

Got the back of the Van sort of trimmed now.

As a trimmer, I make a very good mower man.

After the rust patch panels were done the other day, I bogged it to get a straight line again.

So now, i'm sanding back kilos of bog to fill the slightest dips and hollows. Friggin hell.

My problems looks like it's going to be the 24cm outer dimensions as there are hundreds of bigger and smaller clocks out there, but not much of the size I need. Unless I go to big w or Kmart and get a cheapie....which I refuse to give into.

That clock looks alright fizzle...I think I was lucky. The guy I bought it off got it from a garage sale and when he noticed that the clock didn't work he flicked it on.

After my first kids first year I bought 12 little picture frames and put in pics of her at 1 month, 2 months etc up to 12. Then got a clock mechanism and hands with no clock face and made a clock on the wall. Looked pretty nice and the boss LOVED it because it showed how deep and creative I am.

You can do a similar thing using 12 of literally whatever you can think of to stick on your wall, or 4 if you don't want to overdo it with the number places.

Thanks guys, I am a rank amateur  at this but seek advice from an international group of restorers. I am just glad I didn't see this until I was well underway or I might not have tried to do it.

"This has to be one of the ''most far gone'' horses I have ever seen. If the components were sound in themselves it would be very different, but it looks like a heartless task, so many splits and cracks in the actual blocks.. It would have to be a labour of love...but most woodworkers would want good money for taking this on!"

Pulled the fridge slide out of the gullwing box area of the camper today and then removed the locking slider from it....the slider failed on our recent outback adventure, 8 years of travels and it no longer locks the fridge slide closed (means it wants to bash into the gullwing door now, so needed to jamb a big rag inbetween the 2 on our trip)....just gotta buy a replacement one this week now.

Fitted and adjusted the throttle cables and fitted the new K&N air cleaner kit to the little Kwaka GPX250R the boy and I went halves in.

Installed a new set of Lovells shocks and springs in my brothers Paj. Set was for a 2" lift but the originals were so shagged that it came up 3.5". Looks like a real 4WD now
