Knocked up a couple of dog beds from PVC pipe and shadecloth for when we go camping. The legs pop off to make them easy to pack in somewhere.

nice one... how did you attach the shade cloth?

earle

Just used fine point button head screws. There's heaps of you-tube videos but  basically you work with the frame upside down and cut the shadecloth about 6 or 7 cm larger than the frame, fold in the corners then work on each side - fold in a couple of times then screw to bottom of tube - the folding gives a couple of layers for the screws to grip. You do this with the cloth as tight as possible then roll the tubing to tension the shadecloth further - then add screws through the corner and tube to stop the tube from lossening the tension. Flip it over and a couple of screws to help the tension on the corners.

Nice, Pottsy, but where's the 50 cal ??? ;D

Hard to believe they made about 690,000 of those for use in WWII, that's a lot of Jeep's and 50 calibres.

Twin manual battery isolators for the Waeco Fridge and Engel Freezer Batteries fed direct from the Alternator  [ No fancy electrical thingos to go bung and stuff up the power delivery to the batteries ] mount made up out of scrap laying around ....  Plus the wife wanted another couple of Ciggy plugs, to charge up phones / tablets / run GPS's and what ever else she can think of ..
Might get a nice  fancy 3D printed cover for the isolator switches if I can talk the daughters partner into making  it .  :D

Nice idea, but I know the reaction I'd get if I mounted a couple of switches like that on the console of the Terrorist! :o

Hahaha   Fizz, When and if it gets all Gussied up with a  cover, it will look about 2 percent better and atleast 7 3/4 % professional ...................Well maybe not ... Missus does have some fancy Tupperware containers in the cupbord that would just about be the right size to fit over it, drill a couple of holes, hhmmmmm ..
You know in your heart a quality part like this, fitted to Terry the Ford Exploders inbred love child, would improve its value .. By atleast $3 or $4 . ;D ;D

Living the dream, why would I want to get rid of my 30 year old 80 Series?

Not in the garage but in the house. We had some new curtains and rails installed and I've been patching the holes from the previous rails. Some of the larger holes from the plugs are about 10c piece size. I stuffed them with rolled up paper towel then filled with filler, sand back, then final fill. Is it just me or is it 1 step forward 2 steps back with filler. I get it almost perfect then my OCD tries to get it perfect which buggers it and I have to start again. These particular holes are eye line when sitting on the couch so they have to be perfect otherwise it will annoy me.
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...
