Aussie tough trailers

Hi
Has anyone dealt with or purchased from Aussie Tough Trailers (ATT)?

I'm looking for a equipment trailer like the Dot 7 equip. Unfortunately the DOT pricing is now a bit crazy....

These guys are making similar trailers at a much more reasonable cost.
I'm looking into a Nothing 2 it deluxe with a few mods.
I don't like that crazy bike rack.

Hi. Haven't dealt with Aussie Tough Trailers, but, are you in a position to make one yourself? Myself and a mate are about 80% of the way through building a similar unit. Dimensions - 1500L x 1200w x 1000H with an 1800 drawbar. The main chassis and frame was professionally built, we're doing the rest (toolbox, cladding, electrics etc). Hoping to have finished and licenced in the next few weeks. By the time its finished, it will only owe him about $6000-$7000.The photo below is an idea of what we're doing (crappy phone photo). I was planning to put up a stand alone thread, with a few photos, when its finished.

Unfortunately I don't have time and the space for a from scratch trailer build these days.
I was looking to have a basic trailer built and then assemble and fit it out myself.
I already have a heap of camping gear to go into it.

I really like the current line of trackabout trailers.
I had approached Trackabout ( birth place in the dot trailers ) to built me a basic trailer I could fitout like a dot 7 but they are reluctant to do so.

I'll have to pop into ATT next week and have a look.
I'm wanting a solid frame, body & rack made, suspension will be cruisemaster XT independent air.
Twin spares, and two large water tanks etc.
The canopy and other boxes I can have fabricated or buy off the shielf here in Brisbane.
I'm feeling confident I can get what want for under 10k

hey mate, saw these at a show last year, were pretty good for the money however I thought they were mainly Chinese hence he kept his prices so low?  maybe he is just making a small profit. 

I also thought Lifestyle patented their hybrids?  The ATT Two Up looks very similar toa Lifestyle Two up/Breakaway.

Hv-man, this is my trailer. I love it. Just got back home from a 3 month trip around Tassie with it.
ATT are good to deal with. They'll make the trailers with any modifications you like. Construction is very solid. The bike rack is removable. I put it there because to put it at the rear would mean i'd have to take the bikes off every time I wanted to use the kitchen. I am going to have the height reduced by 20cm though, it's a touch high.
Let me know if you want any more details.
I like it because it has loads of storage. The roof top tent is quick to erect for overnight stays, and then if it's wet or I'm staying somewhere longer I can attach the annexe and put some awnings up.

Checked out the Two Up at the Maryborough CC show and was pretty impressed. $26000 and they will fit Cruise Master air suspension for around $2700. Will get that in writing, but over all very nice unit.

My trailer is made by economy trailers in Goodna. It has been great so far. The owner really seems to care about the quality. He will probably build what you want.

Just be sure to check your weight before loading up & going places, & don't rely on what's on the plate

My CT, also built by Economy, was something like 250kg over it's plated tare

Therein lies the flexibility. We took the trailer around Australia a couple years ago and it was perfect for our requirements. Most nights we just put the rooftop tent up, but it's good to have the option of extra weather protection if it's required
