Just a small cooking fire. We never cook over the fire, just beside it.

Love your camping style. We love to start our trips with a bottle of champagne, always good meals and cocktails. Check out my FB page I started in October. Camping with a Cocktail. My friends encouraged me to start the page to share my style of camping.

Thanks Stewart - mate..

I reckon a few bubbles is a real nice way to bed down the beautiful atmosphere of a terrific campsite..

For us - a big part of vacationing off-grid; is our enjoyment of the campsite itself...   I guess we have a bit of a "Glamping-R-Us" attitude  LOL..

We also enjoy sightseeing and exploring; and day trips etc...   but because we have full on lives back in Brisbane;    .....(just enjoying the comforts of life around our camp is fantastic too)..   The sounds of nature; the view of the night sky; the crackle of the fire; the joy of great meals and our media, etc... all adds to the experience and to our sense of relaxation and joy.

As said, we really spoil ourselves.. with nice wine and great gourmet meals; (often 2 or 3 courses); the better half loves to plan and cook wonderful meals "out, and in the impossible"...

We have a lots of systems etc on board that make all this possible...   From the fridges; to the (dedicated) 32" DVD LED TV - just for watching movies after dinner under the annex; when the weather is good; etc...

You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. ...You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  ...Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like....  Welcome to the layer cake son.

I've been a bit slack checking the forums lately.
