Luxury Cadillac fitted with twin 4's and nitrous oxide.

Twin 4's were available in the 50's along with triple 2 barrels.... but just one big 700cfm 4 barrel in 64

Pity its not a Fleetwood as they suggest on the title.

Its the base model "series 62", but it has been heavily optioned up from new. (Belmont)
Next in the line up was your Coupe Deville or Sedan Deville. (Kingswood)
Then, came the Fleetwood Sixty Special which is what we have. (Caprice)
Then, came the Fleetwood Series 75,which is built on a commercial chassis and is a whopping 22 inches longer. (Australia had nothing from the factory)
They only built around 900 of those and came as a bona-fide limo or as a 9 seater for those with a large family.

Our car is just over 18'7" feet long, bung another 22 inches in and you do the sums....
Hell of a lot of car.

When they built these things, they used the platform of the 59/60 model, hence the knee knocker A pillars.
The little air scoops on top of the rear fenders are for the air conditioning system.
The next year, 1964, was the first year of the climate control air conditioning.

A real complex system too, thankfully, ours works just fine.
