in ten years I'll be 61, and the wife will be 48.

*hopefully* we'll be on the road and working as needed to support the lifestyle.

well... it's 9 years later. I'm 60 and Kyria is 47.

we're living our (working) dream in the remote NT.

Who would of thought I'd still be self employed ten years later
Fysh has changed jobs, after working in a supermarket for nearly 30years.
We own our home, are debt free,
Own a caravan, camper trailer and swags, so we have all camping covered
Still have my 80 series, she has 517000km's on her now.
All but one child has left home, all have jobs, steady partners.
Happy Days.

I retired at the end of 2023 and have no regrets of doing it.  I also don't conform to being a quiet pensioner and will say and do whatever the fork I want because I'm a stubborn bastard!
