However, even if the radar image is genuine, it shows a flight track that would put the plane over Turkish territory for only a few seconds.

The flight path crosses a 2km-wide "isthmus" of Turkish territory that juts into Syria.

At the Su-24's top speed, it would have flashed across that area in well under 10 seconds. Even if it was flying much slower, the map does not show the length of incursion into Turkish airspace that Turkey has claimed took place.

There are also a couple of videos of Syrian rebels shooting at two Russian pilots in parachutes.  Disgusting.  This will only intensify Russia's resolve and escalate (and possibly widen) the conflict.

I cant understand why Turkey did it - its not like Russia were going to invade them. The point was... ?? From what that link above shows, it was split seconds and 2klms over the territory... at the speed the plane can do, that's not even a fart.

They have also blown up a Russian helicopter that was looking for the airmen.....and reports are that they killed one of the airmen while floating down in the parachute...

Who,do to think the Russians in that plane were bombing?  Yep those rebels who were firing back at them ! War is hell !  These rebels are not Isis they are fighting to overthrow Assad !   Putin knows this and now has reaped what he sowed .
