Taken at the rest spot in Conondale Nat Park, of Balumba Creek Rd.
Sadly the upper end of the road was blocked with some large felled trees so no touring around the whole park as I had hoped. Had to double back.

I went with 0 for the spare. As I was running spacers before I'll put in the back to get me out of trouble if need it.

Ya gotta wonder what Yota HQ were thinking when they did that. Musta been some good drugs going around that day.
And yes I know why they did it, still doesn't make it any better.

I know the 70 series had the narrow rear compared to the front, but is it really around 100mm diference? Thats massive

Slight thread detour, but what spacers were you using ?, was it the legality issue that prompted the wheel change, or was there an issue with the spacers ?

Just curious, as I'm considering all options ?

Yeah the wheel difference is about 100mm.  I have the steel spacers from Snake racing. Nothing wrong with spacers had them on for about 15000 Ks trouble free. It was the legal side that I took them off.

Thanks for the comment Gravity. I like the Nittos and if I was replacing the 20's I would have a good look.  I'm running Hankook Dynapro's on a set of factory 18's at the moment (the 20's are in the shed) and I love them especially compared to the stock Kuhmos or the Cooper AT3's I had on my previous wk2. I would happily buy another set tomorrow!

Jeepers Creepers

Taken yesterday when we arrived at our place out in the Lockyer Valley towing the (new for us) 2004 Jayco we bought.

I WAS GOING TO PUT THE JAYCO IN THE SHED UNTIL I RAN A TAPE MEASURE OVER IT.

THE PREVIOUS TENANT MOVED OUT LAST FRIDAY AND LEFT THE PLACE PRETTY GOOD AND NICELY MOWED FOR US. ONE LESS JOB FOR ME TO DO.

YEAH, YEAH, MY WIFE BOUGHT A JEEP AND HAS THE NUMBER PLATES TO PROVE IT.
