Sitting back with a glass of red chilling to Atomic Heart Mother. A very under rated album IMO

Cheers Glen

Today is a special edition of Aus Band T-shirt day.
https://www.abc.net.au/triplej/news/musicnews/triple-j-ausmusic-t-shirt-day-2020-announce/12103436

Perfect excuse to grab a special edition 'Unfinished Spanish Galleon' T-shirt.... ;D

It got delivered just in time this afternoon.

Now to think about which band I'll go with for the official T-shirt day in November. ;)

That's a good looking shirt... where did you get that from?

The wife is a huge spiderbait fan... I don't mind them, either...

I was into a bit of Supertramp at work today... very underrated...

One good thing about being in the office alone is I can fire up Spotify and the Bluetooth speaker and crank it...

So I have bitten the bullet and ordered a Phono preamp. Did a fair bit of research and the REGA Fono came up fairly well. Found one online showing in stock at a reasonable sale price at a local shop and ordered it. Get an email next day saying they are on backorder will be a week or so. Aagghh.....   So I emailed back and said seeing you had in showing in stock but none there you can throw in some interconnects as a show of good faith. All good, both items should be here next week I hope. Can finally drag the Technics SL120 out of its dustbowl. And get some of the old 33's revolving again.

Remastered - probably the clearest video clip I think I've ever seen even on my old Shitty work monitor. The army and background scenes, Dolores face is so clear when she sings... and that awesome voice... just awesome...

Was listening to some random acid jazz funk playlist on Spotify this afternoon and this song/artist caught my eye.

Not sure if he did actually stab them in the back though.... ;)

Yeah, everyone has heard their "for the love of money" song. Literally everyone.... ;)

I was just laughing at the 'OJ' and 'stabbing' bit, more so then the actual music. ;D

It was another successful random Spotify discovery afternoon and I found some cool new tunes to add to my 'casual arvo' playlist.

I was listening to a Stereo MCs album after one of their songs that I hadn't heard popped up on my discover weekly playlist.
Then I picked a random playlist from the 'also appears on' list.
Next thing I know it's been 4 hours of non stop tunes and I'm listening to all sorts of funky jazz tunes. :)

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.... It could be anything from Slayer to Steely Dan to Skunkhour... ;D

MB TD42

Lol...yeah that why I noted they must had a bit of trouble after the top 40 days...bit of a sour turn in the later 70s...

Just stumbled over this duo...for those suffering cabin fever or more...

Been enjoying 'Unleash the Archers' lately.
Singer has an awesome voice - probably one of the best female voices in metal at present.
Bit of Iron Maiden influence in the riffs & rhythms at times.
