doubt we'll get snow here in Qld, there was the low chance of 10 - 30% probabilty Guyra (just over the border in NSW) would get it, but it seems they've cancelled the chance of it happing now

Am I reading the regs right for up the snow? As we are in snow season I need to carry snow chains at all times and fit where directed? If so who has a set of chains for 265/70/17 tyres for 'rent'?

You are correct bud, I last hired mine on the way up and they just rattled around in the back.

I do know of a couple of people who go to the op shop and purchase a pair and put them in the back, they may fit our big tyres when force is applied

"We're looking at very low levels on Tuesday and Wednesday; that's when we'll see snowfall developing to 300 and 400 metres," Mr Efron said.
