So far today we've received 2 lots of 5 minutes each, not enough to trouble the rain gauge.

I see they're calling alerts now on your side of town GeoffA, stay safe!

Thanks D4D.  :cup:

The drainage works I've done over the years seem to be holding up.
The new roof that was done before the solar panels went on has been a great relief.
No butt-clenching these days....

Our turn.

'Dangerous': Three-quarters of a metre of rain could fall in the next few days
A intensifying trough could see nearly a metre of rain fall in the coming days, as wet weather ramps up in the east and snow hits the south.

There are fresh warnings today that 750mm of rain could fall in parts of eastern Australia in the coming days, as a deepening trough approaches the coast.

A forecaster has said the coming level of rain is "dangerous" and could lead to serious flooding before the week is out.

Further south, while the rain won't be as monstrous, it will still hang around, leading to a soggy week for some.

Overnight, a huge wall of rain engulfed Sydney with lightning and heavy winds battering the city.

Radar images showed a 230km-long band of rain sweeping over Sydney at about 11pm, with 100km/h winds recorded in Goulburn and Jervis Bay.

The weather system – which stretched from Gosford south to Ulladulla – is just the first of many due to hit the east coast in the next week, with rain forecast from Thursday through to next Tuesday.

Yes. I am not capable of taking a photo like that but I'd much rather be there than at work.
