Thanks for posting the Aldi catalog..
SHMBO "refuses" to bring them home anymore...
I say to her - "honey - was there anything in this week's Aldi - that I might need?"
"Na!" echoes back the reply (always)   ???    ... now that can't be right??

Found this in the Aldi catalogue today
Has anyone bought their solar panels in previous years?  I know they're a little more expensive than other places, but their no questions asked returns are just so easy

Sydney Tools have the Yamaha GHS2000i 2kVA genni for $999 delivered. RRP is $1699. Not sure if it's a bargain as I haven't been following prices on these.

Looks interesting but it is only a Yamaha engine and then assembled with by a third party with their choice of components so I wonder what the quality is like and if it gets close to being as quiet and reliable?

Tempted to go down to Sydney tools in Brookvale and have a look...

We have had one of the Aldi chairs for well over 12 months. As good a quality as any we have had. Still going strong.

yep, I have the aldie chairs too,  they are fantastic quality and $20 was a bargain. I grabbed a 'spare' as the price was so good. The ground cover mat is another story, not quality at all. It is like a really big version of the anti slip stuff used in cupboards. Wasn't impressed but didn't think I could return it just because I didn't like it. It is still in the bag nearly 12 mnths later.
Trying to find the time to use our camper . . .

Troopy_03

I got a bargain today at a garage sale. I picked up an old Hults Bruk 2Kg axe for $3.00 It's pretty old, but only fine pitting from surface rust and still has the original bevel on the edge with no dings in the edge. The top edge had been hammered a bit, but it ground down OK. These are Swedish made axes and really good quality.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

RallyDog

Not camping related but picked up a 15 model clubsport R8 25 anerversry  $10 grand of asking price.

is Outdoor gear.

Appear to be some decent prices, including Ridge Ryder 9500lb winch for $378 instead of $875!

Good luck!

Thanks Graeme. Picked up their recovery tracks for $125 less the voucher (which I'll undoubtably spend on some other "essential" next month :). I actually didn't want Maxtracks because the motorised jockey wheel on the camper won't work on them.

Palmer

Was trying to decide if I "needed" to get a solar blanket, but with the SCA 45w version for $125 and a $50 eBay voucher, I figured it's worth a try.

Thanks for the tip off. I grabbed one of their Ridge Ryder 45w Solar Blankets for my Thumper. $125 cant go wrong. The one I got was an ex-display and was missing the 7amp Solar Regulator so they guy grabbed a 10amp off the shelf to complete the pack. Happy Days!
