Take a couple of measurements as well. The centres of the fixing holes of the seat. Can you get to the nut holding on the seat or are they hidden inside the throne. The more info they have the better

Thanks GG, looks like 160mm hole centres, and I can get to the wing nuts underneath the throne.

Problem temporarily solved.

After the local Reece was less than helpful, not a brand they stock apparently, I had a brain wave to swap the seat from the dunny we don't use that is identical. After tackling some rusty wingnuts seats are swapped.

Jamie,

Take the old seat with you when you go looking for a replacement.
There are just so many different combinations of fixings and seat profiles....

Do front or rear shocks offer better dampening and/or longevity on corrugations when fitted under trailers?

Cruiser 105Tvan

I would have thought Rear shocks from a Ute, not a car would be best.
Trailer would mimic a ute more closely than a car or a wagon, whilst travelling.

Somebody had a thread a little while back (few months ???) about putting a static van on a block of land with a roof over the top, because they weren't allowed to build a livable shed there.

Can anybody remember it or give me a link to it ???

Thanks.

Yes my logic was the same, I just couldn't find any nice simple (straight forward) information explaining the difference in dampening between front and back.

I have a bit of a selection of front and rear shocks here and I'm looking for the best solution to go with my new airbag setup.
I'm currently leaning towards the band new rear hilux ones, just wanted to get a bit more of an understanding of the design differences to be more comfortable with my decision.

Yep, think that was it.

To have kick off in primetime in NSW/QLD meant kick off in Perth was about 6pm. Do that on a Wednesday night and not enough people might turn up and empty seats arent good.

What's the difference with the "Dexter type profile" on stub axles?
And why would they be so much cheaper then regular stub axles?

Edit;
The answer is crappy websites with poor discriptions on their products......
