I know there is a restriction on discussion of this particular brand, I am not aware though of why as I wasn't on the forum at the time.

A friend of mine has just asked about GIC (Delta) as he is contemplating one and I said I would put the request out for feedback (PM of course).

I would appreciate any factual information regarding personal experience with the campers that I can pass on so they can use this in their decision making process.  He liked the long drawbar as he was thinking of removing the toolbox and mounting his motorbikes there.

Alternatively if you could suggest soft floor campers up to $15000 bracket I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Feedback can be found about the above mentioned trailer import company at product review (see link).  Normally I find this review fairly reliable but the above mentioned CT company recently (May 2014) held a competition offering prizes on Facebook encouraging members to join Product Review and leave positive feedback.

They have gone from a very low rating to a 3.5 star rating since May this year due to this competition.  There are some very interesting stories and lots of worthwhile reading that I can't be discussed on our forum. IMO, take the time and read all of the reviews.

The brother inlaw has a camper of the above brand.

He said he would go for a different brand next time.

He did put it a bit differently to how I have.

Thanks for the replies.  I have suggested he look at product review.

I also told him to check out the classifieds here for the brands that I had read as being reputable for quality.

Regardless of the brand this is outside of the design of the trailer. For this type of use tell him to consider having one built to suit the application correctly taking into account the added weight forward of the axle.

He will end up with a trailer fit for purpose.
