G'day everyone. I arrived home yesterday morning from out at work all excited to get the camper out to season it and start on the power system as it arrived last Saturday while I was out at work. Well..... I looked at it and thought "hell something ain't right" well it wasn't. Have a look for yourselves.
See the attachment.

Exactly!  I near pulled old mate through the phone yesterday. Wasn't happy. It goes back down on Monday to be fixed and should be back home by the end of the week. All at their cost.

Everything else seems good, even though I can't check the tent out yet!

Hearing ya mate. Was hoping to get all the wiring done and seasoned yesterday and this morning so when I get home from my next swing out at work we are right to take off for a few days, well not now. It won't be back before I go back out to work on Thursday arvo.

S'Funny I thought the tents folded to the inside ? Passenger side ? Left in the pic ? Away from the boat thingy ??

You can see I don't have a soft floor eh !!

Going back to basics - sort of ...

Symon

Since the tailgate opens to the left it means the tent folds out to the right.

It's always the little details....

How the hell did they miss that, sending that off to a customer is just embarrasing for the CT maker/dealer  ???

At least they put the drawbar at the opposite end to the tailgate!!!!! ;D

Just wondering if anyone has seen a bigger stuff up then this one??

Thinking Ozstickman,  through no fault of his own, might be the current holder of the CT Fail  :cup: of the year award........

Anyway mate, hope they sort it for you......

We will see how it is sorted when it returns. If it isn't fixed to my satisfactory it will be taken further.

I am a decent bloke so I am giving them a go to sort the problem.

wow now thats a screw up, Wonder why they didn't check every thing over before it left the factory
All my life, I thought air was free...until I bought a bag of chips

WilSurf

You would think they would check everything first before sending it to the customer?
Including setting the tent up and see if everything works.

Yep that is more the point. Obviously they don't double check anything. To the op, I hope it works out for you ok.

Still funny though, and one day you will have a giggle about it.

I was planning to drive down from Rockhampton to pick it up last block off work but had things pop up that prevented me to do so. I would of set it up down there etc but I got it shipped up on a car carrier.

Wouldn't have any issues if I didn't get the boat rack.  I was going to make my own boat rack for one because all the ones I had seen were not what I wanted. This one was exactly what I was going to do.

Not too worry, the wife and I were only talking that we are not ment to buy new stuff, the xtrail when we got it copped a hunk of steel straight through the front of the car only 4 hours after picking it up, our house in Warwick when we bought it well the hot water system died the day after we moved in, and well the camper this problem.  They say things happen in threes, let's hope we are all good now!
