I have the the air compressor it is great bit of kit if you look at dr air it is the same pump for a third of the price

Got both and the Aldi is heaps better. Compared the Aldi one to the show $250 and there are the same, same factory, different paint job

One pallet of there special sale item and its gone in 5min WTF, doesn't sound ethical to me.

Perfectly ethical - everyone who shops at Aldi knows their specials policy and it's written on all the junk mail catalogues.  We got the last two red bar stools at our local Aldi on Saturday - plenty of black and white ones left.

i bought the mats and the seat covers

mats are mats and they do the job, seat covers have more pockets than my cargo pants but are a bit too small for my Colorado seats

also got the cargo barrier, now that is a great bit of kit

My son grabbed the seatcovers for His GQ and they're a great fit.  You'll be able to sell them on the Patrol forum:-)

I got the compressor, I was going to buy the DR AIR off Ebay for $184, the ALDI one looks the same and when I powered it up I was impressed by the amount of air it moves.

The big difference is that the DR Air has a 5 year warranty where the ALDI has only one. It is the same with all the others (Tigerz11 etc) that appear to be the same as the DR AIR.

65DBA is maximum allowed at an out door concert.
70 is approx standing next to a revving mower.
75 is approx the level of pain / permanent damage.
NOTE: As dba is a logorithimic measurement, not linear, every 10DBA is a doubling of the 'noise' level.
THerefore, 70dba is approx 50% more than 65 dba.

One of the thigsI love about noise measurement is the system used to measure it.
Measurement of outdoor noise in Vic is an average over 15 minutes.  This is known as "leq"
65 dba leq is significantly higher than that indicated in the table.  The other figures were from memory and I wouldn't swear to them, although a 15 minute average is obviously going to have more impact than an instantaneous level.

Over 85dbA average for an 8 hour day is the trigger point industry standard for workplace audio metric testing. A weighted scale reduces the time exposure allowed if higher levels are present. I you are, for example, exposed to jet air craft noise levels of 120dbA for 10 minutes you would be in trouble.

We have lecture rooms at work where the background noise level is 70dbA because of loud air conditioners, they are fitted with sound systems to allow lecturers to be heard. It's recognised that the spoken voice needs to be 15dbA above background level for the hearer to be able to process information, so the sound systems are set at just over 80dbA at 3m.

Euro4  standard is for equipment to produce less than 65dbA at approx 3 metres. You can talk to the person next to you and be heard without raising your voice at this level. 70dbA is still relatively quiet, but flaming annoying at 10pm at night!
