Hey guys, the boss has told me to organise a camping trip later this year for some lucky LM trailer owners.

We need 4-5 trailer owners to come and do a camping trip with us. We will cover entry into national parks etc as required and will give either a $50 BCF, BUNNINGS, or fuel voucher.

What do u need to do? Tell us about your trailer, be willing to have your car/trailer used on a promo video. Plus do a bit to camera explaining your trailer and what improvements you have made.

Places are strictly limited. Email info@leisurematters.com.au

This open to NSW residence only or those willing to travel (at your own cost) to Sydney and meet with the convoy.

Cheers

Once I have it, you will get it. Hence the reason I haven't answered your email.

REALLY. Must be much better service in NSW than in WA. Over here we cant even get replies to emails or complaints about these trailers and you're being taken out camping! With extra vouchers for fuel etc!

About to go down the consumer protection path to get some things that should be warranty items fixed. Cant even get a response about what items I've complained about are warranty, but then again we dont actually have a warranty statement from the company detailing what is and isnt a warranty item.

Big Nath

What won't he fix Wayne? Email me, nathan@leisurematters.com.au

Email the problems only. Not 17 pages of crap

Waustin,

From what you have written in the other thread, I read into it that you've muddied the water so much with your own modifications that if I were a manufacturer, I'd have a hard job distinguishing what is warranty work and what isn't.

If my trailer had noticeable warranty work on delivery, the last thing I would do is start modifying it, then try to get warranty issues resolved

waustin

Nothing modified. Just fixed as it was broken and unusable.

There's an errant and somewhat over used term that gets bandied about far to often in the goods and service industry ... and that misnomer is that " the customer is always right".
I can tell you from vast experience that the customer is more often wrong than right ... but that doesn't alter the fact that the customer needs help. Whilst the customer might not be right, they have rights, as does the service provider.
A customer is someone that needs something ... its that simple. The provider supplies that something, be it goods, service, advice ... whatever. If the client is not satisfied, they need to communicate with the provider in regards to their grievance. More often than not, after a calm and reasonable communication process, an amicable solution is forthcoming.
But ... every now and then you get a complete plonker who refuses to view the situation objectively, and insists on making the situation far more difficult to resolve than it should. Either party can be guilty of this, but regardless of who instigates the abrasive discourse, both sides suffer during the process.
A retailer never wins an argument with a customer, they just alienate and lose the customer. And in kind, the bullish customer garners little respect from anyone, especially the target of their vitriolic diatribe.

I'd like to complain ... ouch ... what was that for ?
Oh ... sorry ... this is being hit on the head lessons.

EDIT: SORRY BACK TO CAMPING ...  :-*

Isn't this thread suppose to be about organising a camping trip for a lucky few  ???

Can't pay for fish fingers and expect caviar.
But from what I have read about these trailers, all the owners, well most now, are happy with them, cause they got what hey paid for and are happy to tinker. If something breaks, and is covered by the warranty then it should be fixed, but if it is just not up to a certain std, well you paid for that std.
As for what Malcolm has said. X2

Hi Wayne, thanks for the email.

I have spoken to Greg and now have the ENTIRE email trail, even those requesting YOU to get a local quote for repair.

Guess what? We are still waiting for that quote.

We are within our right to ask you to bring it back to the store for warranty, however we are taking your word about the issues and offering you to get repaired locally.

So it's your call, either get a quote to us or bring it back.

Yup no issues with LM backing their product here, and my trailer has so many issues they are replacing it. They have not at any stage shied away from their responsibility. Even if I don't like the timeline
