Yeah they go for eva 230,000 on mine and still going strong

My only reccomendation would be if you are going pre 2006 get the manual box as you will have the older 1KZ-TE engine in it and while a very tough and reliable motor it is let down by the 4 speed auto as the gear ratios are to widley spaced and this becomes very evident once you start towing.

Was this with 70series tyres fitted?  Mine was definitely effected by the increase in size and was only fixed with a dtronic.  The larger tyres left a torque hole around 70k's

Mine was like sh!it between 100 and 120.........overtaking used to suck.............went from a wrx to a 120 diesal.......thats was a 2003 model...........did everything else ok.

LC

because of the 70series tyres mine has travelled less k's (according to the odometer at least)

No 65 series i just found that with the goldstream (around 1.5 tonne loaded) it would hunt between gears and would drop back into 3rd and scream its guts out at the slighest incline. I have fitted a safari module which has alleviated some of this
