Had an awesome time!  Running test drives for VW, and driving disabled people up Big Red so they could see Bashville, the start of the Simpson, and actually have a chance to get up the dune itself.  Very rewarding...

nah...sadly been back at work this week, we only did a 2 week trip away. Was just funny that we randomly pulled up there for a toilet stop only a day or 2 after you posted that...lol. We stopped in there about 7 years ago to use the same toilets also, funny thing is my memory had that spot being at the town of Dingo, was surprised to see it was actually in Duaringa that the rest stop was actually located at.

Quite a few people here for the middle of the week, outside of school hols. Most seem to be QLDer's? The other camping areas we passed getting to Sarawak seemed to be similarly occupied.
