they had just over 20mm out that way Friday night / Saturday morning, plenty of water laying in the table drains and culverts all around there. Apparently people were getting bogged at Nindigully, I nearly did the same when we left Thallon this morning

It's nickname was Mt Shock when I first worked there 53 years ago, if you blinked you had driven through there and missed it! there was some fossicking at the gem fields but it's main purpose then was the rail depot and rail maintenance gang and the post office and line depot with linesmen and tech quarters, Undarra Lava Tubes became popular much later.

A nice little stopover spot now
