Gday MDS69
I've fitted rubber blocks to the back of the compressor and a 5mm alloy plate for the mounts for the compressor if it does still vibrant it will go back in the box. Im trying to save room in the back of the car and that was the only place I could mount the compressor any suggestions would be great.
Dicko

paceman

made some pvc rod holders for the kids and myself.

40mm pvc, heat gun on 500 degrees and a funnel to shape the flare at the mouth and a quick saw cut to the bottom.

$15 each at BCF or $3 each for mine... and they work exactly the same... :)

Got bored today between shifts so I knocked up a vice that can be slotted into the 4b tow hitch for stability when working on broken campers and 4x4's on trips away  ;D

What a great idea. Handy to have but I hope you never need to use it!   ;D

New bearings on the boat trailer. Think I've busted my shoulder again, this time trying to get the new bearing races in. Speewa, you might have to load the firewood for me tomorrow. It's ok, I'll hold your green cans:-)

Made my cave comfier after getting this finished, was 10 year old down to bear timber and mist of the kids names etched into it....

No camper or 4x4 😪

Rumpig

spent part of the day making a bench that runs down along atleast half the lenght of the inside of the shed today, added a shelf in underneath also to help with storage of camping gear etc and then bolted the bench grinder down to the top of it. Managed to clean up a heap of crap that was laying about the shed using said earlier mentioned shelf, and now it's much nicer to walk around in there  8) 8)

Building up a little zook for the daughters to learn 4WD'ing
before and ....so far
It's not had a lot of love but been working through the problems and issues and by the end of the month will be refurbished and back on the road with a mild lift, mud tyres and of course an I-pod friendly sound system.
That thing you see by the RHR when is the top A arm for the diff, one of the bolts got loose and it flogged the mounting hole, so that was what most of Sunday was about, fabbing up some plates and wending them in place.

oddly enough..... also donated some knuckle skin to the angle grinder

sprayed the angle grinder with my blood

Glad that it wasn't serious, mate!

A surgeon who has been a friend for a very long time has had to patch some very nasty wounds arising from angle grinders ...
He always reckons that one should wear a full face protection mask when using them. Many of the injuries he has repaired have been facial, where the cutting wheel has gone through the patient's face ... Makes me shudder every time I think of it. His descriptions can be fairly graphic!

Rumpig

not in the shed but the carport...fitted new LED lights to the front bar of the Cruiser

MrCruza

Fitted a new handbrake lever and cable on the Aussie Swag. Moved it from the side of the drawbar, where it was a perennial knee catcher, to on top of the A frame. Much better and easier to operate.
Cheers, John.

Fitted up a wired reverse camera to a mates new Dmax. Job went well. Few beers and rumbos and laughs afterwards to celebrate a job well done. :cheers:Nearly ready for bed.
The more Itime I spend with my mates dmax the more I like it. If I was in the market for a dual cab ute, I reckon the Dmax wouuld be hard to beat for the money.
