Made a cage for the box trailer. We are moving in a few weeks and wanted it for the stuff we don't trust with the removalist. Been meaning to do it for years.

The wife started filling it straight away with greens.

Don't complain! It could be worse, you could be six foot under or a brick of ashes!!

Made a spot to hang 2 out of the 3 kayaks.

The green thing is my work bench. Yes, I can walk around underneath them, I'm a shade over 6'
Got all the other Kayak gear above as well.

Now to make a spot for the other 1.

Himself and I were down in his cave yesterday with the Nissan trying to configure a roof bar/rack affair to compliment the new foxwing, and incorporate the new rv5 tent and roof top bag to contain the rest of the camping gear.  This is for those trips that you do that are really not ct friendly.  Cheers rellbell

Cleaned up one of the corners, threw some rubbish out. moved things around to make more space, then looked behind me and I hadnt put it all back.

I need to bold down the tyre changer to make it easier to change tyres.

love to get a more modern version and a wheel balancer, but but but this one does the job I need to get tyres on and off rims. Even my big 4wd tyres..

Damn - that is a good idea.
Might have to start measuring up the hub & bearings I keep in the boat to find a container.

Not so much in the cave, our house reno IS the cave.
Resurrected some old awnings that I took down before the house reno to get some privacy for the little deck.
Normally you'd pay about $2,500 for an adjustable awning this big but a good clean, about $100 bucks worth of spray epoxy (the kind that takes about a whole day to dry) some modified brackets and she was up there.
It's actually the blades from two awnings spliced together, I used an old beam with some strategically placed angle as a jig, made a template to keep the rivets all even and there you are.

Mate asked me to check and repack the bearings on his car trailer yesterday after he noticed a 'noise' on the w/end.
As soon as I jacked up the left side, the rear wheel fell off on it's own, still bolted to the hub   :o  lol  Nice deep gouge in the bottom of the spindle - much like a shaft keyway. Hub has deeper grooves than a vinyl record, and split on the outer edge. Other 3 wheel's bearing are also buggered, with one of them having the rollers fall onto the ground when I removed it's hub!
With the roughly 3/4 turn takeup available with the crown nuts, my guess is whoever played with 'em last time, hadn't bothered doing them up properly, or rechecked after they'd been ran for a few k's   ;)

Winter time, make sure your wheel bearings are regreased and in good condition, ready for spring  :)

Reminds me of a brickie who was running late to do a job at my place.
2 x wheels came off down the street from where I used to live.
Needing him to get his A into gear and get my wall done, I sorted his trailer out for him whilst he knocked up the wall and had a nice reduction in fees owing also, as I managed to drag the trailer out of harms way before the large fines were applied where they should have been....

Not really in the shed , but.... cant wait to get it going this weekend!
Its a gabion fire pit, 1.5m across, 600mm high with smashed brick instead of rock.If they crack..great! They stay cool on the outside for the little ones, plenty of airflow. I've put Gal pipe posts in that double as receivers for a BBQ swing plate and camp oven arm with chains.Has a couple of horizontal pipes as well that will take 12mm rio bar so I can rest things over the heat.
I dont mind going to work, its the 8 hours  i have to wait to go home again that annoys me.
