Finished the wiring on my tandem trailer. All the new lights are working which is a bonus! And the job look nearly neat enough to pass the Evolution standard  ;D

Now to just do something about the brakes and pick up the steel for the floor.....

Was playing aorund with some off-cuts of sandal wood.

Wife was super pleased. A few drinks coasters and a pot stand or centre piece for the table.  Oiled in kitchen oil I did my bench tops in.

Oh yeah, perhaps should also post this in the thread about tool and what you have learnt..........

Even a slow belt sander with 40 grit paper can grab your fleece jumper if leaning too close and get it caught. Its a b1tch when your favourite fleece jumper ends up being cut out of the sander................ Yeah, I wasnt paying attention and got a bit carried away.
Lesson learnt.
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Machined up some planks from old Tas Oak beams and started making a wooden train for my 1 year old nephew. Train is an identical replica that my grandad made for me.

Next job are billy carts for the older nephews, traditional ones. Recycled timber (oregon planks), pram wheels, rope steering and no brakes!.

Cleaned up, cleaned all bench tops, well most. Te two main benches..

Had an RDO yesterday. I was home all alone, so i thought I'd give the Paj a bit of lovin'.......

Cleaned the air filter and pollen filter, topped up fluids, then topped up brake and coolant fluid!
Dropped the oil and then spent the next hour skinning every knuckle twice trying to get the bloody oil filter off. Whoever put that bastard on made sure it wasn't coming off in a hurry >:(

That's what I wanna do, my wife's car is twice as loud as my Troopy. Did you need to give the horn a separate power supply and fit a relay, or can it just be connected to the standard horn wire?

I had a nuebus

One of those mini compact air horns on my avalon taxi, but for some reason, maybe too much washing it died, well the motor still runs but no sound..

So i wasnt prepared to buy another one and then dip it in rivers and mud puddles.

This old vw horn i had on the tractor for years but hardly ever had it connected for some reason, it was sitting over beside the tractor and i though i better put it in my workshop..

I fired it up on the jumpstarter and the sound was brilliant, then made plans to paint it and still it in the crusier using the same horn bracket, but that made it sit too high, so i made up a length of flat and sunk it down a little.
Standard horn Power wire to one pin and earth to the other pin..

Too easy and sounds different.

Loud and a little vwy

They can be a pain for sure ! Put a large screwdriver through it and you just need enough movement to crack it !
