Probably because Tapatalk does not support the Unicode for all the emoticons. Some work, others don't.

Pulled my daughters trampoline down. Now what to do with all this cheap steel and springs?

With the steel I made a stand for my 1/2 44 gal drum to use as a fire barrel.

When I moved I threw out two buckets of trampoline springs as I haven't found a use for them yet.

How about joining all the springs together and using it for the firing mechanism for a catapult? I'm sure you are allowed to have them??  :police:

Think there should be more sentences for criminals "fired out of catapult", after all the Simpson's can't be wrong??  ;D

Ah but better than falling off the side of the bed trying to turn the lights on haha. That is if you can remember where you sat the remote I would love some of these

Hi Nay-DMax
You could always try camping the way we do, you cannot fall out of bed if you camp on the ground, and with the fire going, you don't need to reach for a light.

Did the handbrake mod to a guys rig..

Then tried to change the handbrake and pads on another mates rig, i asked for him to come and help and he never turned up. Naturally i had lots of trouble trying to do it myself..

So i think its time to call off our friendship after 35 years...

Just over the crap.

Finsih this, take out the winch and he can take his bloddy rig and traile rand shove it..

My poor rig sits out in the rain though cos i have his Shit stuck in my workshop with brakes in pieces..

Just couldnt get the bloody centre pin thing connected.. Tried  for 3 hours..

Very true we are a bit spoilt I admit but since I do sleep on the bed I worry about the falling out if I have no light hahahaha

If its dry enough, back to work on the tandem. Need to fit and wire up the lights. If its cold and wet, I'll be online shopping for brakes for the trailer. Might have to cut a bit more firewood too. Had the saw bench blade sharpened and have re-fitted ready to go.

I know you want to do more of something but keep resting and though its not the things you want we are getting the benefit of the thing you can do. Posting on here.

Back yo work on the trailer. Started marking and drilling for the new lights. Made up a number plate holder that the number plate light mounts to. After lunch back out to weld on the chain link to mount the number plate holder. Will start running the wiring for the lights also.

Before I started on the trailer I fired up the saw bench and cut all the wood I have left and stacked it in the wood shed. I'll probably hire a log splitter in a few weeks and split all the bis stuff up.

Something like that but I enjoy reading your posts so I don't mind that this is what is keeping you busy at the moment but I see why you want to do more

Have you tried splitting the wood using a hand splitter, either a 6lb or 8lb splitter..

Most wood is easy enough and its great exercise.

I have split well over 20 tons this year and that was just march. I split all my years supply and then did a friends firewood too..

Try it by hand and save ya $$$$$$

Bottled 28 bottles of Lager and put down another brew of Dark Ale. Currently having another bottle of Pale Ale. Mite have another after that, hang the expense, a whole $1.80.

And listening to SHMBO singing " yellow and black".

He barely has time to put the lengths through the saw bench let alone split the blocks which are not easy splitting by hand so I will spend the money on hiring the splitter rather than on getting his back fixed.  Happy to pay for the hire when we don't pay for the wood and know that I am warm for winter

I usually get a heap ready and split it all one weekend. I usually hire the splitter and do my pile, then do the father-in-laws, then a mates, so between the 3 of us we usually get our moneys worth. Plus I'm too lazy to swing an axe/block splitter!  ;D

I should have been cutting and splitting wood but the young bloke rolled his ankle so we spent the day with mates sitting at Elgins Hotel in Wodonga drinking beer and watching the mighty Tiges win.

Talking about firewood, all the work i did on me mates rigs and trailer was in exchange for firewood..

I got rid of his last rig and trailer today.. Charged him 14 trailer loads of firewood.. Using his trailer that i painted, it holds 1.2m so that will be lots of wood for next year..
