Decided it was long overdue to update the work bench in the shed (from 1 to 2). It is hard to commit to making a decent one when you are in a rental, but if I am going to stuck at home for a few months and finally get around to all of those projects and odd jobs, it was needed.

I got a big case of shed envy now Timmy  :'(
I bet you would not evny the 4 years of jobs and projects I have avoided with the excuse "the shed is a mess and not workable" though Spada!

Today I pulled the clutch out of all three of my chainsaws and cleaned behind them. I like to keep the saws cleaned and serviced but couldn't believe how much sawdust was behind the clutch.

Nice way to spend the afternoon in the shed.

I might give that a go tomorrow as it's going to rain all day. I find it quite therapeutic to strip, clean and rebuild my chainsaw  >:D
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

Wouldn't it be dangerous doing that nude? I mean with those chainsaw teeth being so sharp an all.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

That will be an image hard to get out of my mind.

Thanks for the tip. This was my fault, I was cutting something big that I should have been and did use the pruning saw for.

Not today, but in the last week. I "repaired" my 4 month old specs, which had snapped through the centre of the bridge. I notified (telephone call) OPSM 2 weeks ago and am still waiting on a response, after being told 'we will call soon'.
The "repair" is a small length of a 3" nail with a 1.5mm hole drilled through it, then superglued together. Left for 48 hours and working a treat so far 😊.
We've waited 45 years to do this. Now our life will be complete!!

Made up some maxtrax holders for the back of my roofrack. Couldn't find anything on line as they are all for the sides of racks or flat on top.

chester ver2.0

I for the first time in 5 years serviced the lawnmower with an oil, air and spark plug change and a new set of blades

Even found some extra holes and a look at the manual confirmed i could convert it from 2 blade to 4 blade

So got me a quieter mower with a better cut

Got my supplies ready for the Easter weekend projects. Timber and stain/varnish to build an outdoor mobile workspace/trolley for the bbq area, and 4L of linseed oil to oil 20 square metres of merbau screen. Should keep me busy outside and away from the rest of the family :)

Have you got a plan or design for your trolley? Would be interested in seeing what you are coming up with...

Something like this, but not with nice reclaimed hardwood. I'm using pine and will stain it with Black Japan.

Picked up a nice little tool haul from the Ballarat swap meet. Stanley planes and router plane. Stanley & Record spokeshave, Marples chisels and pile of hammer heads.  All for around $80.

Started on the hammers.
Couple of Cyclones, Stanley and unknowns.
Soaked in citric acid for a few days and cleaned on a wire wheel. $35 worth of spotted gum handles shaped to fit. Burnt with a blow torch and finished in linseed oil  and beeswax paste.

Jeepers Creepers

Since Jan 1st this year.

Rebuilt the V6 Quad cam in the white Toyota Avalon and sold it.

Bought home the XA Futura and washed it. I did want to do number on it, but at Feb 6th, I was only a month off my op.
Threw it on the net..... place went into melt down.... was sold and paid for within 2 or 3 hours. (doubled my money too)
Photo was taken when we bought it, covered in dust.

I was still pissing around and driving the Corona.

Replaced the timing case seal on the Fleetwood as well as a major service.

Rebuilt some Shit on the mower.

March 6th, went had some stomach surgery..... managed to piss off nearly everyone in the place.
The op was a Tuesday, told I wouldn't be going home until at least Friday.
Told I had to drink a set amount of fluid and pass it before that would happen.
The other guy in my ward, caught me tipping fluids in my piss bottle to make things look good.
Left hospital by 10am Thursday morning.  ;D

Not supposed to do anything but rest for 4 weeks.

Was on the ride-on in 10 days.... the place won't mow itself.

Started putting together the ol sideplate grey motor recently, now a short engine.
Pretty groovy little hottie too.
Will have the head back next week.

The Corona sold and went about 3 weeks ago.
The Corona virus arrived during the whole thing, which has buggered up buying and selling cars for a bit now.

I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.
