Playing Mummies and Daddies in a Jayco with kids

As we're looking forward to upgrading from the tent to a Jayco eagle/swan, the one issue that worries us is the effects of sex on what amounts to a glorified sea-saw.  Our worry is that if we're on one end, and the kids are in another, is the whole thing going to rock too and fro, or do the stabiliser legs keep it all level?

This may sound daft, but it's a real question, as this is certainly one of the parts of camping we get to enjoy, away from the stress of normal life.  Our kids aged between 8 and 13 understand about these things, and while we're discrete, and wait till the kids are asleep, we don't want them to wake up and realise what's going on 

Any thoughts or comments would be welcome.

By the way, we have a hawk and its not a problem. Just make sure the kids are asleep.
I did however, put a large plate of sheet steel across where the mount sits attached to the underside of the bed.
Not for any activities,  I was just worried about the kids playing, jumping or moving about at night and having a metal spike come through the flimsy ply..............
Stable as. Safe, secure and really strong.

Being a larger build I locate my side of the bed on the inside end. Try to keep activity low and slow and away from the furthest extremities of the slide out bed ends thus eliminating additional pressure on the supporting arms.

I have noticed that on some of the campers the ply base is constructed of two smaller sheets stapled together. If possible and buying new ask for the honeymoon option of the thicker ply and 32mm support arms.

If you are in a closely packed van park sometimes it's good to plan ahead. Invite your neighbours around for a few after dinner drinks and fill them up on cask port decantered into more upmarket bottles, this will ensure that they fall asleep early and avoids the knowing looks the next day.

Waking the kids up early, restricting sugar intake, keeping them busy all day  and ensuring a supply of fenergan should get them off to sleep early allowing sufficient lead time.

Remember the bed ends are canvas, any aural activity will travel whether or not the bed end zips are open or closed.

From Vic: There is only one couple in history that had a child without doing all the lead up work, so basically, everyone knows what its about lol  If they happen to notice the van's a rocking, and give you knowing looks, just strut around singing 'I am the champion', take a bow and leave it at that lol.

From me: After 5 weeks in the CT,  you don't worry about it, we all know where kids come from after all.  Just try to minimise rocking, and if 'Bucket' and his dog 'Alfonso Dominico Jones' happen to see your early morning exercise, just bid him good morning and leave it at that lol
