Well another year has passed. The forum grows bigger and it's great to see Lot of new members.
We have seen some more trips arranged this year, great trip reports and some interesting debates in the electrical section.

But above all we have shared and discussed some great topics over the year. To Brett and Jill, the Mods and all members have a safe and happy Xmas and a fantastic New Year whether you are camping or spending time with your family it's a great time of the year.

Yea, agree Mark. Has been great to be part of such a great forum. For all the heated discussions (only a few) lots of great info still gets shared.

I hope to meet a few of you next year up our way where a few thousand beers can be consumed.

I would like to sneak in here and say that although the only competition I can see running is the monthly photo, my vote for thread of the year, if it existed, would go to gclan's cape report - if that was all that was on here it would still be worth it. Thanks to all contributors, but this story takes the cake.

I hadnt looked in the trip reports section before, but thought I would go have a peek, this is the best written trip report I have ever read, (still going mind you it has me sucked in now, just want to keep reading it until they make it back home, but alas kids and housework keep getting in the way).
I would vote for this as thread of the year, very well done
