I am currently uploading all of the images and videos of this years Cape trip to my webhost (all 72GB of it!).  At the current rate it should be ready for people to download sometime early tomorrow.

There will be three main folders - low res, high res, and video.  Please download the low res folder first, and then pick which images you want, then download the high res images.  This avoids you from downloading everything (and waiting ages) only to find you will delete most of it.

For access please shoot me an email at symon@myswag.org and I will email back with the FTP details.

This service is only open to those who were on the Cape trip.  If you weren't on the trip please do not ask for access, as refusal may offend.  Those who weren't on the trip will need to wait to see the pics posted up in the trip report.

OK, the upload went all through the night but will take a bit more to be finished.

I have received emails from some people, but I won't send out the details until the upload is finished - please be patient.

Yes well, that is what happens when some lunatic decides to go uphill in soft sand with a camper on..... we almost destroyed Scott's Maxtrax getting the cruiser out.

Love the footage Scott, how cool did that sunrise look?

I had to shovel half the beach to find the maxtrax after Symon was finished with them. Sunsets are what life is all about.

Hi Symon
We met the swaggers at Palm Creek and stopped to watch the fun before the main group arrived.
Enjoyed catching up and meting you guys there.
JK filmed our Patrol going though. Is it possible to get a copy of the footage or access to see the footage?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Symon,

How's the upload going??

Cheers,

Getting there, I started the upload before I headed down to Brisbane for the week, only to find it crashed halfway when I got back.  Restarted it now, so see how it goes.

If I have missed anyone who has sent me an email please let me know and I'll add you to the list.

If there is anyone who was on the trip and hasn't sent me an email can you please do so (hen I need an email, not a PM!).

There is still some 3000 low resolution images uploading at the moment (all the high resolution ones are done) that will be finished in an hour or so.  I have put up some of the video footage but as you can appreciate this will take a bit to all get up there.

A long one from mainly the GoPro. I paired it down, so it's not too boring.

Scott that in-car footage of Palm Creek is unreal, those GoPro things sure are great.

Great quality for such a little box, Palm Creek was filmed from the roof of the car.

Glad I'm not the only one wasting a perfectly sunny Sunday on the internet.
