Honey, it came with that. You remember don't you. It was in the bag with all the other goodies.
I finally found the time to fit it properly.
I shouldn't have been such a tightdonkey and had them fit it, but you know honey, every dollar counts.
Anyway, its finally done now and I promise I won't take so long to do other things.......................

>:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

But then in return I get.......

I bought these shoes today. They were on sale - only $40.00
Then a few weeks later when I get the card statement, she forgot to mention, the dress, top, handbag, hairdo and other pair of shoes that accompanied it. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Oh well, both guilty. :police:

I maintain that she said "I don't care - do whatever you want", but she has a different recollection.

    Cheers!
    Matto :)

    Matto,

You should know better than that.  To help you in the future, refer to the following list.  I've emboldened the item that refers to the above mistake.

    [list=1]

    • Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

    • Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

    • Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

    • Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

    • Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

    • That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

    • Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'.. That will bring on a 'whatever').

    • Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying...Go to Hell...

    • Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

With my R51 she was driving it through the Warren river, without a snorkel like all the other cars in our club.
She wanted one when she stepped out.

A few weeks later I had my snorkel fitted.

I find it all in the approach.... 1st years ago she brought me an item she wanted for Xmas so I got here a locker and transfer gears for her B'day & said its all about how comfy she can be. And once installed she actually agreed.... let the games begin!!!!

New ARB B/bar with high mount winch = her I liked the chunky tube on the standard one - me but we cant put the winch in there - her ok that sounds better in case we get stuck "WIN"
New 5" lift = 1st she complains vibration in front end when braking - me yes dear the suspensions has had it - her then get new but no higher - me borrow mates larger tyres for a few weeks before install, remove the dead 3" install new 5" with my smaller tyres, installed the bigger tyres a few months later. "also since the we have been on a few outings were friends have damaged their side steps or doors & she now says she glad ours a bit higher "WIN"

Duramax = (very nervous typing this in looking over shoulder) towed the Swan Sydney to Airlie Beach last year the back way. Car was 90L gas & 30-40L unleaded. Tamworth - Rockhampton "NO GAS!!!!" 30-40L = 120kms with the 35's and loaded with everything & 2 kitchen sinks (thanks dear) - her after noticing everywhere had diesel "why dont you put one of them in here" then better a Silverado towing a 5th wheeler over took us going up a hill, she says whats he got.  ;D ok dear if you want "woo hoo insert me dancing here" "WIN"

PS: I will deny all if this is ever repeated over a camp fire, I vote this topic stays in the cone of silence!!!!

You blokes are nuts!  If he wants to mod, he mods.  I'd prefer he mod faster ... he puts things in the shed and then "gets around to it".  I'm not a new dress, handbag and matching shoes kinda girl ... I'm the camping, 4wding and having fun kind.   ;D  All I ask is that I can help him with these mods ... that way I understand things a bit better.

P.S.  Yes I can change a tyre, my oil & filters.  I know a shifter from a phillips from a open ended spanner from a socket.  I understand what the "bits" do but might not know what they are called.

    I can't really answer this.
I guess I'm the lucky one with a super wife who scares the hell out of me.

She's likely to come home with a new car anyday and I'm the one telling her we can't afford it. I find her on eBay looking at classic cars and I pray and hope she doesnt make a bid and find myself making excuses like we don't have a garage to keep it in etc etc
Her answer is that if she gets the classic car,I get the garage.

She's never complained about anything I've bought and never got round to fitting /using /finishing.

She was well chuffed with my recent purchase of new kincrome space cases.

Yep, I love my wife and sometimes forget just how good I have it.
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Fit the fair lead to start with until she gets used to that after all it's an important part of a winch bar, then fit the winch a couple of months later.

I was thinking to get one of those flip up number plate frames that would allow the number plate to cover the winch and when she does see it say "...but its always been there dear...haven't you noticed it before??"
