So where would you be? I would be I don't know, probably still procrastinating about whether to take the plunge and buy a CT. Still lugging around tent, shelters and way too much other stuff to bother typing and only getting out one or twice a year if lucky because of all the stuffing around it used to take to go camping.
We have only had the swan about 2 months and are about to take it on our 4th trip. Love it!

Thank you Myswag and all the myswaggers for all the advice, answers to stupid questions and so on that you give me on a regular basis to make my weekends more enjoyable

Oh and I forgot to add I would probably have a lot more time on my hands if I wasn't addicted to this forum  :D

Probably in front of the tv and not enjoying life no where near as much as I do because of this site!

Bigsteve

I'd be $20k better off, not spending most of my free time reading the mods section and dreaming up ways to "improve" my camper. Life used to be so simple

But ahhh, bugger that 'eh.......... if i dared to be busy once, they'd expect it all the time  >:(

But seriously, there is always something interesting to have a read of or a look at on this forum.

I'd probably be finished with my house renovations,  if it wasn't for laptop, cell phone and damn myswag.org
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

gowalkabout

I'm with cruisindub my renos would be done because I wouldn't be on here or out exploring this great country of ours. I would also have a few more $'s in my pocket

Having met a couple of members on the Tanami, spoken to a member on the phone, and already knowing a member who comes to where I am, I suppose my extended social life would not be so extended.
I would definitely have a lot less knowledge about C/T's and the like, and I have gleaned some great informatiuon to build my own C/T.

Lets see:

I would not have a drinking problem

I would not have had the joy of taking people to the Cape and the Gulf.

I would still be crying over my electrical problems

I would not have been able to copy some of the great ideas that have been posted

I would have more time to do absoulutly nothing

and best of all I would not have been able to meet some fantastic people and form some great friendships  :cup:

I was only thinking about this just the other day.
Myswaggers come from all walks of life, the diversity is amazing, from those that are retired, families, single Dads & Mums with their kids,  Kids of all ages, from teenagers to infants. And it doesn't matter if you haven't got the latest fang dangle gadget, just as long as you're out there enjoying this fantastic country.
I reckon it is great that Swaggers freely give their wealth of knowledge and share their experiences without a second thought. If a Stupid question is asked, your not ridiculed for asking, but you're helped.
Sure, as with all groups there are the occasional disagreements, but it seems to be different here, there seems to be an understanding to not jump down peoples throats even if you don't agree with them. The varied topics is great, I don't comment on a lot of them, but I read most of them.
It's like sitting around an online Camp Fire

This forum is a credit to all Swaggers.  :cup:

;D
You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

I would be a lot less informed about campers.
I would be a lot less informed on places to go in this wonderful country we live in.
I would still have a relatively bad opinion of people in general...... myswaggers are an exceptional bunch of people and restored my faith.
It is nice to voice an opinion and not be cut down.
I also wouldn't have the old boy asking me if I am on my swag again!   ;D ;D
I am a true follower!!  Can't help but be addicted!!

Have to do somethig before SWMBO gets home from work

Now I am sitting back at myswag again.....

Hi,
I would have definitely failed my 12 month post vocational training, and my retirement would not have been as rich.
