( except the air cleaner and bead locks should be a different colour ... that's all I'd change ! )

Believe it or not that was a common mod in the 60's / 70's when mags were expensive and everyone wanted a set of 'fats' on their car.

I picked up a pair of early Holden 13" rims for my ski boat trailer at a swap meet many years ago. Pulled of the worn BFG TA radials and discovered this mod. Only the welding was nowhere near as good as the above pic. Instant scrap metal!
