It's a wonder that the cartilage damage wasn't picked up in the MRI but someone forked up with one of the diagnoses.  :o

General Discussion / Knee’s & Shoulders
Last post by Harbourmaster - March 19, 2026, 10:31:50 PM
I had a total shoulder replacement 01/12/25 Ball & socket coming along OK but I overdo my exercises at times I think. Had to get my knee done, get an MRI. Was diagnosed 3 1/2 years or so ago with Osteo Arthritis. Surgeon says I don't have O/A
I need a arthroscopy & partial medial menisectomy. Well that's a bloody lot better than a knee replacement. Had it done today in at 06-30 out at 10-00. Only we've got a problem Houston. I have Anticular cartilage damage. All will be explained fully when I visit the surgeon's rooms on the 31st. Ah well too dear to travel now anyway. Might be a good job I never bought that lotto ticket 😉

Yeh like most Bash vehicles would be breaking a law then, what about hazard lights. Just opening this up for more dialogue 😎 That must be why BMWs don't use their blinkers. 😂 Over here in WA notice a lot don't use them compared to SA. I'd plead ignorance & take a chance.

Quote from: Fizzie on March 12, 2026, 05:37:21 PMContemplating getting a portable, rechargeable one for the I-Mu, working on the concept that a flashing yellow light is more visible to oncoming traffic ???

But when I looked into it a bit further, it turns out that you apparently can't legally mount one on a private vehicle! e.g. Qld but all states are much the same:

(b) a special use vehicle may be fitted with 1 or more flashing yellow lights

(3) A vehicle may be fitted with a light or reflector not mentioned in these standards only if the light or reflector is required or permitted to be fitted to a vehicle under an Act.

(4) A vehicle, other than an exempt vehicle or a special use vehicle, must not be fitted with a light that flashes.

(6) In this section—
exempt vehicle means any of the following vehicles—

(a) a police vehicle;
(b) an emergency vehicle;
(c) a transport enforcement vehicle;
(d) an Australian Border Force vehicle;
(e) an Airservices Australia vehicle.

special use vehicle means any of the following vehicles—

(a) a vehicle built or fitted for use in hazardous situations on a road;
(b) an oversize light vehicle authorised to be driven on a road under a guideline or permit issued under part 3;
(c) a vehicle built or fitted to accompany—
(i) a vehicle mentioned in paragraph (b); or
(ii) a heavy vehicle that—
(A) is an oversize vehicle within the meaning of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Queensland); and
(B) is being used on a road under a mass or dimension exemption within the meaning of that Law;
(d) a vehicle, whether or not a school bus, fitted with warning lights and warning signs under the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Standard 2010, schedule 1, part 4, section 19 or 25(1)
