Well as much as I wanted to let everyone know earlier I thought it was best to wait til she recovered a bit.

Wednesday 2 weeks ago my wife had a 2 inch tumour removed from the back of the frontal love in the brain. The operation went well even by the surgeon, he said he is 99% confident that he managed to remove it all in 1 piece.

So far she is recovering well. The sight is still limited but improving a little bit every day. She has a lot more energy.

We are just taking each day as it comes

So long as you have tried your best, you should have no regrets.

I think this calls for another bottle of bubbly and a bunch of flowers for Mrs Maverick..

I'm in for $20 - who else is in?

Try and stop me, I'm in...

Jen, Sprogs n Him

I was about to make an entry on the daily rant thread about how we missed out on a cruise for my birthday... Now my whole family has to go without us...
Then I paused on this thread,  pulled my head in,  and started counting my blessings instead.
Mav, I can't imagine what you and Mrs Mav are going through,  and I don't think I could express in words how sorry I am that this has happened to you.
I hope you are getting the love and support you both need at this time.
Thoughts are with you and your family. Xxx
