Hi Maverick

I don't get on here as often as I would like to, and when I do I usually am pretty shy, just hang around in the background trying to learn a thing or two, however reading your post this morning has really touched me, I will be following you advice as soon as I get home from work as I am recently married and I can't hardly fathom what you guys are going through as you fight this fight.

All I can say to everyone is when you finish reading this is to go hug your family and cherish all the good times and forget about the little petty rubbish. As this can happen to anyone of us

I have not experienced this with my partner or someone so close but lost 2 of my Grandparents to it in 12 months and my uncle a few years later. I can't begin to Imagine how hard it is.

I wish there was something we could do for you guys, I guess all I can do is to extend the same offer that other swaggers have and hope it helps somewhat, I am a shiftworker and am awake at all kinds of wierd hours if you are ever looking for someone to chat to in the wee small hours of the morning, I would be happy to listen or chat, whatever you need. I have been through a pretty Shitty time, nothing compared to you but a favourite saying one of my older friends always told me was "Keep Attacking" and I try to live by that nowadays.

I will PM you my contact details in case you ever want or need to chat, but from my family to yours can I offer you a really big hug and as much support and well wishes as we can offer.

Take care mate and Keep Attacking

Chris

Well unfortunately there has been some more bad news to ad to this post.

Yesterday at 4:20am my wife was rushed to the PA hospital in Brisbane because she suffered from a seizure. So now they have her on IV to reduce the swelling on the brain and also another IV to limit the chance of any possible seizures down the track.

The hospital are wanting to do surgery to see if they can try to remove the tumour growing on the brain.

Very worrying times

What he said mate.. nobody deserves to go through any of this.

Hope the surgery goes well mate, if it can help and gives some hope, then think long and hard about it... not an easy decision.

Hi Mav, I have been following your thread but not posted.
Having walked your path I still find it hard to comment without feeling like what I write is trite.

Above all, cherish every moment, and make sure that the system listens to what your wife's wishes are.

I really feel for you both.  As others have said, lots of us here to listen when everything seems too burdensome.
