Hi,
Not a torch, but a head lamp.
We bought a pair of these about 4 years ago off ebay.
Motion sensor, usb rechargeable, couple of different settings.
We are happy with them.
We also have the Kings led rechargeable light sticks, with the magnetic base.
We seem to get a fair while out of both led lights.
We haven't had the need for a torch, as such.
Cheers

You don't use magic to disappear, ya use a 4x4 & Swag.

You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

Bought one f these last year, 7000 lumen,  only complaint is it doesnt have a concentrated beam but the zoom action is still pretty good. USB rechargable or AA batteries and has a advantage of being able to act as a powerbank to recharge phones etc. About $60.   https://www.costco.com.au/Home-Improvement/Tools/Tool-Accessories/Infinity-X1-7000-Lumen-Dual-Power-Rechargeable-Flashlight-1806405/p/1806405

I have several Olight torches which have been really great. I have 2 pocket torches, one in the fourby and another in the trailer, and they both hold charge well and throw a good beam which you can alter from low power to a pretty good distance one. Beams cannot be focused but are a good compromise.

We also have a couple of very small Olight torches that we use when travelling but not camping, or when we walk to local restaurants (crap street lighting). They are about 40mm long and, again, have variable power settings.

I recommend them.

Best camping torch in my opinion is a good head torch. So often you need to be using both hands when camping .

I do have one of these, very usefull.

Ok, thanks guys,
i ended up ordering a Wurkoss, hopefully will be ok, cheers,
Chester.

Hope it suits you.  I have torches both with non-remvable rechargeable Li batteries and one with a removable-to-recharge Li battery or a few AAA in a holder.   I much prefer the last because when I need a torch and the battery is flat I can bung in some long storage alkalines to ge me by.  And when the Li battery dies it can be replaced instead of sending the lot to landfill.

which model and how are you finding it?     Wurkoss seem pretty well regarded generally so Im sure it's OK.

A bit late for you but in case anyone else is looking  here's a few I've been happy with.

1) Wuben C3  compact torch.    ~$35 with the removable 18650 battery.  USB C charging.

2) Wuben F5 camping 'lantern'.  ~$40. with fixed battery.  The back is magnetic and there's an adjustable ring for hanging/holding or propping up.   Can also be used as a power bank.   Understandably  pretty useless for any distance but great otherwise.

3) Nitecore MT12C??  adustable compact torch (not this exact model but very similar).    $40 or so when I bought it on sale years ago but looks to be ~$100now.     14500 (or AA) battery so more compact than the wuben C3 and not as bright and no in torch charging but has a few features that make it my favourite.   90deg adjustable angle head,   magnetic base,  and a bi-directional belt clip.      Give great hands free capability

I ended up with a HD05, $89 posted, happy with it at the moment, didnt need the uv light on it but anyway,
see how it performs long term.

A UV light would actually be bloody handy for my work.     We often use UV detectors for  burner flames so this would be perfect for simulating a flame to test the detectors.

I have a Nitecore I4 at home which goes OK but fairly basic and old now.

I was going to get a 2nd charger to keep in the van and the XTAR VC4 on amazon seems like a good option
