I shall attend the dawn service in Lawrence, as we have for many years, and the years we were camped we still held our own remembrance.
Thank you.

Took the family to the Modbury dawn service, great to see a huge turn out!
Nothing more important than teaching our kids about the ANZACS and other servicemen and woman.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them!!!

Went to my local dawn service which finished long before dawn, so watched half of the Currumbin service on the telly when I got back home.

Now getting the kids into their scout uniforms so they can march in the main parade.

Dawn broke, just as the troop marched from the hall to the Cenotaph, the were given a welcoming clap as they took their place beside the lowered Flag.  We are a small communitty, some 100 odd people attended. For the first time this year we joined those that marched for breakfast afterwards at the Lawrence Tavern.
A memorable morning.

just after our local dawn service ended we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise...was some nice pink in the sky between the broken clouds, my eldest daughter actually noticed it first and pointed it out to me.

Went to the Blackboy Hill dawn service where most of W.A. soldiers trained for WW1. 1500-2000 there.
Only found out a couple of years ago that my Great Uncle was one of the earlier ones to sign up in 1914 for the 10th light horse.
Lest We Forget.
