Christmas by the beach

Does anyone have any good places to spend Christmas/early Jan near the beach in SA or VIC?    We were looking at 90 mile beach, but worried everything along the coast will be chocka block full!  We are coming from SA.  We can be fully self contained.  Thanks in advance.
