I thought I read Australian made with jtech independent (which is made here)
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Stating price is just over $17k. Not made here, not for that price.

As long as it's built to a standard and backed up with a decent warranty.

Besides, Jayco aren't known for a top quality product.

rods gq

They are saying Australian made in their brochure.

Is that Australian Manufactured from scratch or ....
Australian made from CKD packages shipped in from overseas.  Just like Auto Producers of Clayton were doing in the 70's.
ie. assembled in Australia,  Another Interpretation based on a partial truth.

If you take a look at the body of the camper it is the same as the Dominator.  Possibly just put onto a Jayco designed/built chassis & suspension.

I am surprised they would want to get into this already (what feels to me anyway) saturated market. There are already soo many people offering nearly identical units. Honestly I don't know how they all manage to stay in business.

Heard this mentioned on teh radio in the car today - Jayco's new Campertrailer... ???
Im with Corzadry... but then look at Hybrid.. they came in their thousands to catch the latest buzz word.

I think they will do well yes it is a saturated market but saturated with a bunch of players that most people would not have heard of. if the average punter is going to buy new for their first trailer Jayco will be playing on the well know brand name angle to attract them and it will work.

Nation wide and international brand back up will go a long way to getting punters in too ..

Junko will do anything to make a quid.  Reckon they would be better served eliminating the problems they have with some of their vans and build a better van than what they do at the moment. Plenty of complaints on the web.   Pure money grabbing. Market is saturated with the same model campers under various names.
Having lots of friends on farcebook is the same as having lots of money in monopoly...means absolutely nothing!!

This video is interesting, from the US and obviously from a little while ago but doesn't scream attention to detail. https://youtu.be/jXMJrRQ3SVk but man do those Amish workers move! I have since read that they work to a quota, ie once they have made the set amount of product they get to go home.

IMO. to be effctive, Jayco will need to update their definition of "Outback"  v  "Off road".

I understand their warranty is questionable....

They have the new term for their more robust range of vans, Adventurer

I suppose they really couldn't call them Challenger, could they.

Watching that video now explains why there were a lot of screws hanging out the bottom of the floor of my 2008 Jayco Eagle when we had it.

As rags has said jim they have a dedicated off-road van and they have certainly gone to great lengths to make it such and back it with warranty.

In regards to their "outback" range it's unfair to call there warranty "questionable " it was always very transparent what they covered and overall jaycos warranty is sensational when you are claiming legitimately.
