Anyone using a joolca setup on a jayco?

Looking at buying new and wondering if the HWS/Shower option is worth it in terms of use and re-sale.

EagleBoy

I'll leave the re-sale bit alone, I have the onboard HWS and shower and have a mate with Joolca freestanding i.e. not plumbed to the camper.

Good things for onboard - no set up time, hot water to the sink
Bad things - only uses onboard water tank and the shower output is not great. Lose a cupboard and shower is right next to camper

Good things for Joolca - better flow and temperature control, can use alternate water sources like river or from a bucket/jerry to save onboard water for drinking. Can also set up further away from camper for run off control
Bad things for Joolca - set up time, theft
2016 Amarok TDI420 Core
2015 Jayco Expanda 14.44-4

As the Joolca is removable I am also not sure of the resale bit. Would probably suggest not but who knows.

We didn't always have the Joolca but since we have the wife would murder me if I suggested not bringing it.

Cheers

When we had our Jayco Hawk we had a Joolca (or similar at the time - But can't recommend Joolca enough!!!) mounted in an upright toolbox on the draw bar. Easy access to the gas bottle and water lines. Outside and really easy to use.

We could get hot water in a bucket at the flick of a switch for washing up etc and we used a cheapy type pump setup in a pop up tent for showering.
It worked really well and was the best mod I ever did.
I can scrounge up some old photos if you want.

My view on mods for camper's is generally do them to make using them better as they generally only add a small fraction of the initial price to the resale price.

I am thinking similar to this, permanent and lockable
