Travelling up to Kimberley and back from Brisbane..April - August

For those going on the McGirr Kimberley trip, or anyone else for that matter, that is heading in a similar direction over similar time period, and would like some companionship, Kerry and I are following the routes below.


Brisbane - Katherine
Starting end first week April and arriving Katherine 02/05.
Brissy/Biloela/Emerald/Longreach/Winton/Cloncurry/Gregory Downs/(then the Savannah Way) Burketown/King Ash Bay/Lorella Springs/Roper Bar/Mataranka/Katherine


Then after the Kimberley trip, our return, from Broome, around end first week July,
Broome/Fitzroy/Bungle Bungles/Halls Creek/Tanami/Alice Springs/Plenty Hwy/Boulia/Bedourie/Windorah/Charleville/back to Brissy finishing start August.

You're leaving too early for us regrettably Mark.
We don't get away from Bundy until the 26th so it will be straight to Katherine from here.
We're going to do the Gulf on the way home after a detour to friends in Darwin and Nhulunbuy.
We'll most prob tag along from Broome to the Bungles if that's ok.
