So any time you want to use it for a recovery, you need to empty all your crap out of the box first...not for me thanks.

My guess is that the second attempt at crowdfunding will go the same way as the first.

I was given fiberglass grating tracks years ago to test......I think they are still floating around the garage or maybe I gave them away.

Either way they are good for bridging, jacking and ramps but.......you notice the girl in the wasn't holding them off the ground out in front of her compared to her wielding the maxtrax around. The fiber falls read are heavy depending which thickness you choose. They are also quite rough on you hands when carrying them around and placing them under the tyres.

I carried a set for a few years....but never used them, much like the maxtrax I have which haven't been used either.

I have a set f FRP grate tracks i made years ago from some leftover bits at work. Used them once to help a sierra get unstuck at fraser but hardly take them anymore due to never making mount to stick them on the roof so they were always at the bottom of the load so too much trouble to get them out.

I agree they can be heavy and you definately need gloves to use them cos the edges are sharp. Mine also have a sand/grit impregnated in them too for non slip which is not friendly to hands either.

Or buy a Jeep.
It will break down or burn up before you arrive anywhere to get bogged.
(no offence meant to Jeep owners)
