Sorry to hear so many don't like this game. I'm vested in it at the moment as I'm coaching a young girl who just busted her xxx"s through 3 qualifying rounds to make it to the main draw. If you take away the crap you hear from some of the big guns and see what the lower ranked players have to go through and little cash the actually make, they are playing for the love of the game. Can't but respect someone for that....

If you do pass a glimpse on the tennis, check out Zh Lin, china..........she probably won't go too deep in the event, but making main draw is massive..
Keeping on swagging

My pair play fixtures and for their school. At the Brisbane classic last Sunday after the men's final my youngest guessed his serve speed then went and did it in the speed trap, won a hat and of course Nick Kyrgios happened too walk by and sign it. Happy kid.
Heres hoping Nick turns into the role model we all know he can be. Small steps, he's only a kid himself.

No I have to go to bloody Melbourne for the weekend to watch two people hitting balls at each other, possibly till 2 AM apparently, whilst the weather in Sydney is stunning and I could be out on the boat.

He gropes three balls for a while, drops one and flicks it back to the ball persons and sticks the second in his pocket.
Scratches his ass, rubs some butt juice under and around his nose and behind the ears like it's some type of rancid pheromone to attract a playmate, then bounces the preferred ball a few times, pulls a rat face and serves.
This is not random, it's every time he serves which can be over a hundred times a set.
I noticed that Djokovic does a similar butt juice treatment, but forgets the rat face.
Is this pheromone usage something the Australian Institute of Sports is failing to teach our players and ultimately the reason we don't have anyone ranked really high?

It is pretty well accepted that Nadal is medically OCD / high functioning autism spectrum. Lots of brilliant people are.
